When we started this group, we gave each other tribal names after the movie Lord of the Rings.  These names reflect our personality.  We used this movie because of the fellowship and unity they shared and their willingness to do anything for each other.  This is the same as our tribe, the following story tells you how are tribe developed, i hope you enjoyed this story.

I (Boromir the DEAD, BUT ALIVE WITH CHRIST!!!), am from Wichita Falls, Texas and I had a Dream about something that is Bigger than anything I thought I could ever do.  Not just personally but in the sense of my spirituality as well.  My friend  (Frodo) and  (Samwise) started what would become known as the tribe, this tribe has grown to tribalinc.org.  They added two members to this tribe  (Legolas) and  (Gimli).  These four great gentlemen UNITED to not only better themselves, but for , , AND , these three did it to better their marriages.  They attended several  (Promise Keepers Conferences) and in doing so, they began the journey of becoming better Men of God.  This journey has taught them how to survive WELL despite a culture that BOMBARDS us with TEMPTATIONS. Often rivaling those of biblical days.

As the tribe grew stronger, so did an everlasting bond that they could count on. In fact, they knew that no matter what happened, they could count on each other to be there for support and advice.  "LIVIN LIFE TOGETHER " , a motto from has become something they hold close to their hearts.

This tribe started meeting once a week sharing the Gospel and sharing each other lives.  They would have anywhere from 2 to 4 members in any given week.  They continued to do this until the 2007  convention in San Antonio, Texas.  That is when I , join this tribe and found a whole new world in my belief in God the Father and also in the bond of friendship I would develop with these great men. During this time  had stopped coming ... but he did rejoin us for .   But it also revealed the BIG DREAM and the path of our journey, in that this tribe would hold a conference that would be similar to .

  I had known  through playing volleyball for our church.  I really did not know him well till this trip, but after the conference experience, man, and I were brothers.  This was a life changing time for everybody who went on this trip.  Not only did it change our lives spiritually, but it also revealed a dream of a journey that we will soon be going on. 

This dream was revealed to, in that this tribe would hold a conference this would be similar to  but for the north Texas region.  His dream was confirmed when I  had a BIG DREAM that I was at this tribal conference speaking to this arena full of men and telling them how God is moving not my only life, but also that God is working in the lives of my fellow tribal members.  During this time it was also revealed to   that a tribal website would be beneficial not only to our tribal community, but for other men looking for something more.  We believe that our tribe represents a way of accountability for the men of our group.  It is also a way for us to lean on other men in our time of need.  We have developed this mission statement.  This is something that we try to do, because without these things we are nothing.  They are “Moving Men Forward, Moving Families Closer, Moving teens back home. 

Without our families, we as men are empty inside and will have something missing.  By moving forward we are becoming more like Christ and not livin in the world but living by His word.  Also with bringing teens back home, we are trying to assist our teenagers by helping them avoid immoral pitfalls.  By building bridges that clarify our intentions -- simply put, that  we love them, we wants what’s best for them and that we are committed to teaching them the Jesus life.  So pray for this tribe, as we continue to grow with new members.  Including   (Elrond the wise) ,  (Gandalf the grey), and   (Gandalf the White).  These three new members are challenging us to act more like Christ and do what we are supposed to.  Also pray for our BIG DREAM  of holding a tribal conference, our goal of helping other men find Christ and applying Him to their daily lives.  So this is our story, and we're stickin to it.  We invite you to DREAM BIG & be Dangerous by joining us on this journey.
